36 and 37mm forks with lower fender mounts

Does anyone have any idea whether there are any other forks larger than 35mm that have two lower fender brace mounts?

What I mean is this in the photo:

These are 35mm from a CB750/4. I'm looking for 36mm or 37mm (or 38mm if they exist).

The GL1000 is 37mm but only has one fender mount for example.

I have looked at the long lists of fork sizes online but they are for the most part incomplete lists and sometimes incorrect.

Any help appreciated, maybe you know of some I haven't spotted. :)

Kz650 are 37 mm . Mine are a few hours away but if you look up the bike I'm sure you can find that info.

Are you sure they are 37mm? My list says they are 36mm? Which model are you talking about?

They also don't have fender mounts inline like the CB750/4 so are not appropriate.

So anyone else have any ideas?

I don't think what you are looking for exists. Most bikes had done away with fender stays by the mid to late 70's and that's about the time forks became larger than 35mm.

You maybe right, but I'll keep looking until I find nothing!

XV920RH / TR1 Yamahas are 37mm, not 36mm like the Viragos of the same era. They also have to axle mount at the bottom of the sliders, not in front of it like the Viragos.
15mm axle is stock, though there is enough meat to bore out to 17mm axle, which is what I did.
They're a pretty long fork and I've got a fork brace on my brace on mine to stiffen them up a bit.
I think the Yamaha 900 4 cylinder bikes had 37mm forks as well, but I can't remember how the fender bolted on...
Don't know if it appeals to you, but look at Harley Sportster forks; I think there is a 39mm front end with a "standard" fender mount.
Hope this helps.

Hi Pat,
Thanks for the input.

I'm not specifically after 37mm. I did check those forks you mentioned, sportster etc.

None had the fender mounts I'm after, harley not since 73 or something like that I think.

I know nothing about aluminium/alloy welding but I suppose my other option would be getting the forks I want and then having those mounts welded on and machined?

Easiest way would be to make up some right angle brackets to bolt to the axle caps.....then mount the fender stays to those. That way you can use any fork that has bolt on axle caps.

A thought has occurred to me, similarly to what I suggested to Tex and Zeke on their CB200 and they subsequently executed, could you use a pair of "Adel" / MS21919 cushion clamps of the correct size to fit around the sliders, a pair on each side, and clamp and bolt the fender on that way?
One of my buds did this with his H2R vintage race bike; found a great set of forks super cheap because some yabbo had machined the fender mounts off, used the Adel clamps, Bob's your uncle. Looked fine and as the bike did well over 130 with no problems - the fender stayed put, so probably okay for you(?).
