Still have a couple of small things to do but she is mostly finished. I stole some plug wires from my sons truck that has been sitting in the weeds for the past year and half. New vintage ones should arrive any day. Also need to paint the kick stand. I plan to get it powdered over the winter. Has a miss in one of the cylinders. Think it might be an electrical issue. anyhow hope you all like
really really LOVE THE PIPES! they just stand out to me and look awesome, flow so well, looks great! but you know me... has to be something... what about a rear fender man?! if nothing more to protect your balls! you get bounced around on a hard tail and do not want to see ya get meet grindered
coil packs look awesome! glad you did not drill them they look too cool like that. Troy hat is off to you again... again... again. you done good man!
now you need a witty name for it that involves 3 as this is the third phase of the bikes life...
oooh ya and it seems everywhere on your FN farm is the perfect backdrop for some killer photos! man i really wish i could make it... i truely wanted to meet you and your fam in person... soon man soon
Can I sit on this thing? While sitting on it, will someone take pictures of me sitting on it? I am hoping that some of the coolness of this motorcycle will somehow magically become a part of me.
Thanks fellas. Really means alot. I've never been more stoked. Not to take away from any of my other builds but I'm pretty proud of this one.
Hey Staffy I first thought the same thing about the wires till I popped the points cover off. one side has a big ole blue arc jumping all over the place. I put her back in time ( used a voltage tester) to what I thought would be perfect timing but the same point has blue spark jumping all over the place. the points look nice and square and I ran an emory cloth through it but didn't help. I may try to reset that side tomorrow.
Oh..., awhile back the bike was a cafe ...
No fender Joe. I seemed to be able to stay on the seat when the shocks were welded so I thought I'd give it a try for awhile. If I add a fender later on I want it to have internal struts. Think it needs to look real clean. But for now she will be fenderless
The homage is great fellas it really does mean a lot!!!! Thank you
So bad ass Troy....I have loved every evolution of this bike and hate that the old is dead and gone, but I am in awe of the bike it has become. You and your pals have done an amaizing job and this has become a bike like no other! It is truely an outstanding creation and simply beautiful! every part of this bike is done to the "T" and no detail was overlooked. I know this bike will not only turn heads but it will make people stop and drool on themselves. Congrats of the finish brother and enjoy some saddle time now....give it a bit before you cut on her again please!
I love the belt and the exhaust. She looks great. I woul dbe horrified of my back hitting the tire, but having no rear fender looks so good. Great work!
i know it looks cool troy but man you are my buddy do not want to see a bump from a hard tail causing you to loose the jewls... with the rake and new trail of the bike the ride should be night and day diff from the swing arm, maybe even a hoop or something to add there
WOW... thats really all I can say... Damn, she is a purdy bike, and the battery box! Holy Crap! That is a piece to be coveted. Great job Troy, I am so bummed I won't be there to see it in person, but I can't tell you how pumped I am that the bike is done, well done!
I have to admit... Im REALLY pumped to meet you guys. All of you. But theres a part of me that may be more excite to see/hear this bike in person. HA HA HA
