so last month my father and i were in his 1965 dodge polara at a stop waiting to turn left when we got rear ended by a flat bed tow truck that was going about 70 MPH. luckily we did get too hurt, mainly muscle problems in our backs so were currently going through physical therapy and we will be fine after a lot of work.

ANYWAYS, we finally picked up a car today to replace the polara and i figured i would share with you guys and if anyone is interested i wil start a build thread for her. its a 1959 chrysler windsor, 383 golden lion, push button automatic, and massive tail fins :) (she measures just over 18 ft long). overall the car is in fantastic shape and everything is there, it needs front floors, trunck floors, trunk extensions, right rear quarter, and both inner and outter rockers done BUT, ALL the doors, trunk lid, hood, fenders, and frame are SOLID. i was expecting the windshield and rear glass channels to be rotted out and the front cowl but they arent which means it is very easily savable. the plan is to get it running well before tear down so we know what we are working with, then its getting torn down to the bare frame and going through the entire car. we already picked out a color, its going to be going suset brown mica which comes on the toyota venza crossover which should look amazing on a car this big. thats enough of me rambling, heres a picture of her.
