68 cb350 butterfly valve for carb

im working on a 68 cb350 and need a butterfly valve for the oem keihin carbs. its literally not there. im not sure how much of an issue that poses when the engine is hot...

Does anyone have a parts carb laying arnd from one of these with a butterfly valve to spare? or other advice on what to do, where to look.

i have thought of just doing the vm30 swap if buying a whole 'nother carb is the answer but if i cld do this on the cheap thatd be preferred.

This is a real stretch, and of course you'd have to get the O.D. pretty friggin close, but how about finding a valve shim??? Other than that hit e-bay and see if you can find a cheap carb. body to cannibalize... Maybe Carr-Mcmaster has slugs you could work with...

yeah i think i need to make the decision between buying a junk set to part or a new set.
