Well, mostly you're looking at shorter rear shocks and lowering the front end. Lots of people slide the fork tubes up through the tree to lower it easily, while some get into shorter springs etc.

How much lower do you want the bike?

Man love what you are doing, but it so clean before :'( (haha I will get over it). I like the cl, cb350s, especially the 60's. The lowering all I know is to adjust your rear shocks and stick your forks out through the triple tree. Nice tires too, got the same ones, do they handle nice?

Do the 69's have the top triple where the fork tubes bolt through? as opposed to the clamp type? My impression was that you needed the triple that clamps around the tube, if you want to be able to push it through to lower the bike. My '70 cb has the bolt through kind. I assume the 60's ones do to... I was also looking to lower mine, so if this makes sense to anyone, and they know of a way... Please share...

id like to get around 2 inches. i want it for looks really. im plenty tall to reach the ground. any info on cutting a little off the stock rear springs?? and im pretty positive my front tripple trees have the bolt on setup and not the slide through clamps.
i have alot of ideas goin through my head. possibly stretch the swing arm and what not.

yea they handle pretty nice. no complaints over here

Lowering the bike will have a negative impact on the handling....as will removing the front fender.
the nice set up for a 350 is about an inch down in the front and and inch UP in the back

your forks are bolt through and will not slide up so you will need to find a new front end.

cafe bikes should be about making things better....not just looks.
might want to think about a set of 35mm forks.

building a bike just for looks is one thing but be aware what you are doing and make sure that you stay safe

@ surffly its good you said that cause i dont want to have crappy handling. so the stock setup is good by me and that means less work and money outta my pocket. i just about have all the wiring re-done these picks are from yesterday and i've come much farther since the pics. i dont plan on doing anything more to the frame prolly just cut off the old mounts for the stock foot pegs but thats about it.
