'69 Kawasaki G3SS

I bought this bike a little over a year ago, with the intention of giving it a cafe look - it's in pretty nice shape, complete, etc. Before I ever got started on it, my focus turned to Sears/Allstate/Puch bikes...I've not touched this one. And chances are, I won't. The original tank is dented and, I thought, clunky-looking. Hence, the nice '71 tank in the picture. The motor turns, has good compression, but no spark. The chrome is good. It'd take not much to either resto or mod it. I just need the room in my basement work area. I have a clear title. I'm approx. 50 miles NW of Chicago. And I'm asking $550. I'm available 'most anytime.

Is that an extra pipe in the second picture? I'm looking for a new pipe for my G3SS because mine has a big hole in it from the kick start lever.

Eric - nope, sorry. That's the only pipe - removed to make things easier when the bike was taken down into my basement.
