71 cb350. Warm Beer.

looks great! wish you could have coated that sporcket while off man would have held up so much better to the wear and resist the chipping, hell i would have done it for $15 bucks

thanks for all the compliments and kind words. makes all the headaches a little easier to forget. :)

robbed the stone guard off the 550's headlight as it seemed a bit too busy with the guard and the yellow film on it. slapped it on this bike and like it more. had to fab up a few brackets as the perimeter ring is too big and the retaining rim of the headlight wouldnt hold it and the lens in place. got some small button head stainless allens, drilled a few holes in the retaining ring and bolted it down. done and done.

your bike looks nice *thumbs up*, how come you didn't go bigger holes and nice brass screens for the rear drums?

Inspired build here Andrew. I don't see a detail on this sucker I'm not into. I bet that paint explodes in the sun.

to be honest, it was the biggest my step bit would go up to.. haha. im not really sure why i didnt screen the rear, i just started drilling holes and came up with that. i have another brake plate which im contemplating on doing a brass bordered "vent" with mesh. when i hit a standstill with my 550 im working on, ill probably tackle the other rear braking plate. we'll see.

redid the rear stripe to give it a little more shape. the circle was a bit boring.

and i finally caved in and took the dinky and crappy sounding jardine muffler off and hung one of my emgos in its place. i used the 2-1 collector off my old set up, cleaned it up and gave it a couple coats of hi temp. made a bracket to attach the muffler to the rearset mount and done. sounds awesome, and breathes alot better than the jardine did. im not too crazy about the collector being silver, but it is minute in the whole look of the bike. better than black i guess.

polish that collector up! you can polish it man and your goldne
I wish. The collector is mild steel Joe. If it were stainless, then it would already be shiny like the rest.

20 min on a buffing wheel and then clear powder or clear engine paint... will gett it pretty dang close to the stock pipes bud
