This has been a year of work so far (haven't really pressed too hard to get it done). Been working with SS Speed and Kustum on this project. It's nearing completion, just need to make the final tweaks then wire it up. Going with a LiPo battery and Centech fuse panel, salvage what we can from the donor bikes, all new wiring and connectors. I have an LED tail with integrated turn signals that is going to mount around the rear hoop just under the cowl. Need a different muffler also.

Frame is burnt orange, tank, seatpan and headlight bucket is Subaru pearl white.

Here's the pics of the full build

I picked up 3 bikes, a 71, 72 and 73 CB450. the 71 was an unfinished bobber project, the 72 was a cafe and the 73 was a parts bike.
my kids playing on the bikes while still on the trailer

this was the cafe, dirty, rusty, etc

i put the kids to work with the tear down

we decided to go with the 71 frame since it wasn't hacked up and had a clean title

during tear down, we found some bad weld spots, so we reinforced two joints by welding in some steal corners

over the past year, this was hot i racked miles on my bike, yes, there's 2 entire motorcycles in my hatch

did some polishing

did some painting

and some baking

wheels are not trued yet, however, going to tear them down again and have the rims powder coated white

hoop welding

laying color on the frame

test fitting the cowl it needed to be notched by the rear shocks to drop lower

test fitting

prepping the cowl, tank and headlight bucket for paint

the exhaust, which did not fit as planned, needs to be reworked, new muffler

subaru pearl white base laid

we made a bracket to drop the gauges lower and mount the ignition switch

pearl was laid on the base (potato phone pics do not do it justice)

together for the most part now

right now it's on a spare set of wheels, just need to get it going for the DGR ride at the end of the month. afterwards, its being torn back down for the winter, rims, frame and some parts will be powder coated.

Lovely lines! Can't see much of the detail but the tank flowing into the seat hump is just about perfect. Is there any way you can raise the front of the seat pan by half an inch and get it lined up exactly with the bottom line of the tank? I'd be perfect then! :)

i could put some spacers between the the seat and the mounts, but, i'd be afraid it would crack the fiberglass with the girth of my butt.
