72 CB350 Started

Hello everyone. I'm Treeslam. I got the name because I wrecked my last bike (DR350) slamming me into a tree. I broke my pelvis, back, sternum, both collar bones and shoulder. After 8 years without a bike, I have decided to pull this CB 350 out of the barn and see what I can recreate. It was purchased new by my grandfather when I was 2 years old.

That's so cool. Few people get the chance to ride much less redo their grandfathers bike.
I'd go full restore to perfect personally.
Then buy something cheap to chop up

Thanks to all for your encouragement. The bike is complete and I am doing a slightly modified restoration. I have photos of me at various ages climbing all over this bike. I come from a large family and everyone is excited that I have decided to do this.

The attachment shows the inside of the fuel tank.

This is how the tank looks now, after 48 hour soaking in Apple cider vinegar. I am amazed with the results.
