Re: 72 CL450 - "CatcH-23" (slacker)

I love the brake setup. Can I get some more details of it? Where do you get the cable and how's it all set up??

Re: 72 CL450 - "CatcH-23" (slacker)

shortened front brake cable. 2 honda clutch cable adjusters. to custom adjuster bosses (one fixed to the brake plate, one welded to the swing arm. custom rear lever with a cb350 front brake clevis...

Re: 72 CL450 - "CatcH-23" (slacker)

your going to have to make me one of those brake cable setups now!

giving yourself all this work... tsk tsk! :D

ill pay you in polishing. ;D

Re: 72 CL450 - "CatcH-23" (slacker)

I love that tank. Bumblebee stripes and a hot rod sticker isn't something I'd normally be into, but for some reason that tank just looks right to me.

Re: 72 CL450 - "CatcH-23" (slacker)

well... dont get too attached, cause its not gonna stay that way much longer!

I'm sure you'll do something else equally cool, but I do dig it as is.

Re: 72 CL450 - "CatcH-23" (slacker)

slacking harder than ever! :p im trying to light a fire under my own ass, but the weather is forcing me to hibernate and play call of duty all day.

Recently i shaved the pinch welds on the tank and made some 3/8's NPT bungs. you cant see it in the pic but i also finished the steering damper, and swapped the bottom tree. ill try N take some better pics the next time i werk on it.

i also changed my mind on some details. and ill be going a slightly different style. first off... im going with some dunlop k180's. flat tracker styles! and swapin the front rim out for an 18"

Hell ya man! Thats badass! Do me a solid and weld a brace between those top rals though...

Honestly dude, that frame looks teriffic! What are you doing for a seat?

I have to say... pete's fab work is absolutely amazing. if anyone's seen my braced swingarm, I can take NO credit for it... All credit do to pete's skill.

hows the clearance on that rear wheel though? I feel like its going to hit that brace come the first pothole ;)
