72 Honda CB450 "lucky 13"

Thanks, it means a lot. Take any ideas you want..... I have seen some really good ideas on this site and used them too so no worries.

I've been so busy lately.......First gear is broken and the engine/trans are out for fixing. The good news is I stuffed the bike in my parents basement for the winter. Much easier bringing it down stairs with no engine!

Posting for future referance...
Bummer about the trans, but I am glad to see you're still around. I posted that simple statement so I can refer back to your thread when building mine that I just picked up. So far I am still disassembling to see just exactly what I have to work with. Love the looks of yours, nice build man.

I like those sites but I was thinking something less of a blog site and more a standard type site where you could click on different links to : photos, build page, video and so on. Is there any free ones like tumblr?

It is dangerous ;). I just have to get around to organizing a little and create a site. I have two new project bikes but no time to work on them. I need to organize some photos and upload everything, Ill get there someday.

Very classy build. I love it i just bought a 450 myself this is the best 450 ive seen and ive been looking ALOT lol so many people go over the top.

Great bike.

I posted a pic of it yesterday on my blog and it was quite popular to say the least. Your photographer contacted me on facebook and gave me the flickr link and the DTT link. I've since added the appropriate links to the blog.

Not a single thing I would change on your bike, perfect.

The tank is stock with a little body work and paint. The stock gas cap was ditched and a new one welded in. As for the rear shocks they are stock also, just painted grey and black. I honestly forget the tire size but I'm sure if you search my thread you'll find that info. The wheels are bigger, aluminum aftermarket ones. I basically rode this bike a few times last year. I need to give her a cleaning and carb rebuild. Looking forward to spring!!

i´m from austria and also building an CB450K Cafe and i have a question about your exhaust/airfilter-combi:
is it really clean running whit this combination because i have the same filters and also some very short exhaust...
