DEEZ NUTS........
Here is my finished cafe project, a 1973 Honda CB 750 I have owned since I was 15 years old. I traded my father's friend a cement saw, I found on the side of the road, for the bike.

Here is how she started:

"Found it on the side of the road" ... I grew up in the inner city, I know what that means. That somebody lost a perfectly good cement saw LOL. Keep the pics coming I am dying for more 750 cae pics.

Great start. Nice bike to begin with. I am always a fan of the cb 750. -MBS

You must have a ton of time and sweat just in cleanup and polishing! That alone will make this bike stand out.

YUP, this build took me almost two years (wife and I had a kid during this time though too).....

THE SOUND

THE END - Is it ever really the end? I have put about 250 miles on the engine breaking it in. Sorting through some oil issues, namely I put too much in and it is blowing out the breather tube of the oil tank. Still wainting on some slow jets, but otherwise she screams and is so much fun to ride........

Excellent , Excellent job! I only wish I had less limitations on time and money for my bike so I could achieve the same quality. Where did you get your paint job? I like the orange decals. I see a lot of bikes on here with great paint and wonder where you guys get it done and for how much. I have priced out all local body shops in my area and the cost is ridiculous. They will paint a whole car for $300 but want $500 or more just to paint a fuel tank one color. Again, Very Nice!

great work ed. man, that bike looks and sounds great. pictures and videos don't really show it off the way it impresses in person.

That is a top-notch build. I really don't even like 4-cylinder cafes, but this ones the dogs bollocks. Well done man. The detail bits like the upper tree and the headlight bracket really seal the deal. I also really like how you splayed the exhaust pipes out and kept them short. And speaking od that...

The only concerning thing is the 4-1 merge collector. Why that one? You're a good fabricator, so why not build a proper exhaust with a true 4-1 merge collector? I realize space is a bit limited under there, but I really think a proper collector will really solidify this bike.

But again, well done on the build. It's impressive.

This is definitely a beautiful bike. Oddly enough, just before I came here, I was cruising some links and randomly found the place that did your paint: Image One Art in Ohio. They even have your seat up on the front page. Very nice, congrats.

What was the cost of the paint job? Was it just the base color or the whole thing, orange decals included?
