Looks good man! Any plans on hiding the battery at all? It just kinda sticks out a little bit.

Yeah, I've got the side panels, but I need to finish filling them with fiberglass. They are cut to show the air filters.

Hey Hey... Theres one more 350F!!!
Welcome to DTT JapRat,
Really dig those finned engine sides and the stubby front fender. Where'd you get them? That first rendition of the stripes looks sweeT
I think the small checkers would be a PITA to lay out unless you find a decal.

If any of you have a front signal lens, let me know.
*edit on the lens, I see your bullit style on the front now thats missing one, sorry.

Here is mine, any comments or suggestions you got along the way are welcome http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=13778.0

I redid a 350f a while back and spent 2 hundred bucks on side covers and emblems I twitched alittle when I saw you bike with cut covers its kool my reaction was for my 200 buck not your side covers I donot like the checkered strips on that bike (just me) great bike thought hear is a picture of the one I did for my wife so she could tell me she wanted a fuckin sportster instead (not a chance in hell the oil alone would put me in the poor house) lol

Thanks man.. The brake pedal has rash on it, so I'm guessing that's why it has those engine covers. I've seen them on a couple other. I'll do some research on it for you. The front fender is just cut and painted over. Yeah, I like the first one too. I might split stripe like the other Bell I posted. I'm not sure what those signals are off of. They may just be old custom. I'll probably have to get a whole new set.

I'm liking the seat you've got. Mine is from Moto Carrera, the carrera fiberglass seat for a Yamaha two stroke.

Yeah, mine came without emblems, and they wouldn't fit with my air filters. I like them showing. I decided against the checkered pattern. That's a nice looking bike man. I hear you on the Harley expenses. I'd still love to have a sporty to build into a bobber though. I used to have a Buell xb12ss. I couldn't keep up, paying for school at the same time, so I sold it back to the dealer.

I will look to see if Istill got any parts from mine Im pretty sure I got oem turnsignals

I really like the look it has right now for some reason. It looks like it's well used but it gives it a little something extra.

Thanks man, I've been looking for a lens from something else that fits it.

I like the flat red a lot also, but I spilled gas on the tank. Now it looks horrible. I need something a little more durable.

I still have not had a chance to look for any parts for you but I am pretty sure the turn signals lens are the same for all the small early seventies honda I have had a 73 cb350f, 73 cb350 twin, 71 cb500 four and a cb550 and they all had the same turn signal len the stalks are different lengths any way dont quote me. my bikes are all almost 40 years old alot if parts could of been changed previous owners to keep the dam things one the road theres in a gray area of age where the bike is not new and not old enuff to be worth a shit all these bikes are just out of that faze and if a teenager was given a 1972 bike in 1987 and told all he needs to do to have a motorcycle is rig up a brake light and blinkers do you think the words new old stock even enter his mind for a second any more I just pick a light starter gas tank that I want to use and make the bike fit the part give me another day or so and I find thost lens later brad

I think all pre-74 Hondas used the same turn signals. Find out for sure at www.denniskirk.com - they sell clear and amber lenses for the originals.

Yeah man, I was trying to see if any one knew of or has those custom signals. Thanks for the suggestions.

That's right.... My bad. I remember now when it was first mentioned.

Check out J+P Cycles too - a lot more expensive for stuff but they do have a big selection (maybe even the lenses)

Nice man, I'm working on a 350f myself..cool little bikes.

Is it some kind of optical illusion or is your left handlebar longer then the right?

Yeah, they're not lined up. It could be slightly longer also. They are one off machined clip-ons.

very cool bike, i have to get me some white grips now!

what exhaust is that??

ashley

The grips are from ebay. They are really cheap and come in a few different colors.

I'm not sure on the brand. I got it off a guy who said it was Vance & Hines. It's been painted so I can't tell
