'73-CL350 Blinker not flashing?

Hey everyone, I put in some new blinkers on my 73 CL350 and all the wiring is correct but the blinkers aren't blinking. They will just stay on solid when I flip the control switch. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or thoughts on where to look for the problem. I checked the honda twin service book but they didn't list anything about it. Thanks for the help!

Some bulbs need a certain (read: different than wats stock) resistance to work. You may have to install an inline resistor between the flasher unit and the lights.

Theres several threads on here discussing how.

Good luck man.

Does it start blinking if you give it a little gas? Sometimes these older charging systems do not have enough juice to get them to blink.

No I didn't switch to LED. I will check the forums and see if i see anyone else who had the same problem. and yeah Kevhead75 I tried reving it up but still just a solid light. Thanks for all the imput guys, I'll let ya know if I figure anything out!

When I first got mine I had the same issue.. It turned out to be a bad ground on the rear turn signals. Re did it and all is well..
