'74 cb360 questions

I just bought a 1974 cb360 frame with a title (yes the vins match) I cant find alot of parts for this bike especially engines and transmissions. Im needing to know if i can fit a cb350 engine into my 360 frame without alot of work and still use the 6-speed trans from fatory? what else will switch over? where am i gunna be able to get parts?

You can't fit a 350 engine into a 360 frame without significant modifications. Many of the parts between the two bikes will swap, but engine stuff isn't usually on the list (excepting valves).

These forums (and some others) and eBay are a good source for buying new parts.

Well I'm going cafe racer with it and i found a close friend who is good at fabricating (mounts or what ever) so I'm a little more flexible with engine choices. any recommendations? Also will cb450 swingarms fit my cb360? I found one for 25$ real close.

350 motor will fit into 360 chassis easier than 360 into 350 chassis as 360 motor is slightly taller
It still isn't a direct drop in though.
If you can find an old XL or XR500, it's almost a direct swap (I'm still looking for a cheap XR500 motor )

If you want a 350 engine buy a 350 bike, not worth messing around with stuff like that with how cheap you can pick up a project bike.
