'74 CB550 Single Throttle Cable

The bike I have came stripped of all cables, Do I have to go with a twin cable set up or can I convert to a single cable. I have gotten an aftermarket Throttle and a pair of cables but the cable ends don't fit the throttle so I need either a new cable or a new dual cable throttle. Any help or suggestions is greatly apprieciated.

Yes you can run a single cable. A lot of bikes (mainly Suzukis) came standard with a single cable arrangement.
