'75 CB125S

Thanks, I was pretty scared to loose anything is the process. I'll post up some pics of the stang in the 'Cage' forum later tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Hey! Nice bike!
Are you restoring this or 'cafe'ing this puppy?
If you want more performance I'd recommend taking it out to 150cc, with a squarer bore/stroke it's a gusty engine, keeping everything else stock, literally just increase the displacement. And sourcing a hydraulic caliper for the front disc. With modern tyres, overhauled suspension/bearings and bushes, these are lovely bikes to ride and you don't have to spend a fortune. Even flatter bars and the forks raised 1/2" up through the tree make a big improvement. Some of the nicest looking CB125S cafe's on here have just ace bars :) Simple.

Thanks! I think I'm just going to cafe it and keep it mostly stock. I don't want to spend too much money on it because I'd rather just get a bigger bike after I'm finished with this one. I need a good daily rider to take some of the stress off of my car, so I'll put some money into a commuter bike and just put-put this one around town.

And WNTITAL, this is for you.

Good plan :)

Sweet! Love them both! Since I don't fell like posted a new thread in the cages section, here are a couple of my rides:

But I'm still a little jelous of the Stang!!!!

I'm diggin the Audi, I bet it rides great. Both of my cars are terrible on my lower back on longer trips.

It has fully adjustable air ride suspension. I can adjust it a total of 3in up or down. I believe this pick is in the lowest position. It cruises so smooth on the highway it's crazy. 100mph feels like 60!

I would buy another Audi again. This one is a 2005 A8. I love the new A7 and A5's. I not big on some of the new BMW's and only a couple of the new MB's. My boss just bought a 2013 MB SL550. It's a bad ass car. Twin turbo V8. My true love though is Porsche. I'm a freak about them. If you look through some of my build thread you can see hints all around my garage.

Enough about cars. How's the bike coming?

The bike is coming along very slowly, life is getting in the way. I won't have any real time to do anything with it until tomorrow, I plan to spend a solid 36hrs in my shop. Thinking about picking up a mini fridge and a microwave so I don't have to leave my battle station.

Scribed......hopefully, you'll get back on this.................curious to see some updates.

Hey Guys, I'm back. Life, work, and school have slowed me down but not stopped me.

So right now I'm in the process of cleaning out my shop and organizing my work space (I could really use some words of encouragement). But while I'm doing that I need to be thinking about wheels, as I want a rolling chassis very soon. I want my bike to look similar to the one below.

Does anyone have a link to this build? I'm fairly certain that I saw it on this site not too long ago but I can't find it. I'd like to get the front end and wheel specs off of it.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

I too like this bike you just put up pics of, but not a fan of the extremely huge tires, never really got into that trend. Tires that rub the front forks and break the seat fairing when you hit a bump look cool! I'll leave man-handle a steam roller into a curve to the Batman. Good use for that Kevlar riding suit he wears...

That thing *looks* suhweet. Not gonna comment on performance etc. because I'm sure everyone else will, but I'm in to find out if there's a build thread on it.

And let's be honest, a cb100 isn't exactly an exemplary performance machine in the first place.

Yeah I'm not looking to break anyland speed records with this thing. I just want it to look good and let me play in the corners in the corners.
