75 CB360T - Project Mini Rat

Druro

Noel... stay outta my profile... wanker.
Well, The story behind this bike started earlier, with Tummysom who own this bike previously. I purchased the bike from him, knowing I'd have to do a frame swap and re-wire.

Here is a couple pictures of how I got her:

Following her arrival, I decided to do some work on it the following weekend, consisting of a frame swap and such. Since the CB360 uses the same wheel/rim combo as my 350F (which had new rubber), i decided to add that, as well as a fine "Loco" paintjob ;D

So here is how she is now. I'm planning on riding the hell outta her, and possibly giving her a full rebuild and paint over the winter... but we'll see. She just needs a smaller batter and filters on her.

I took off the rear sets Tummyson had built, cause they need a little fiddling to make work... and I just wanted to ride.

give me a couple minutes here... just need to upload some pics

As requested by Saucer,

I'm playing with a couple different exhausts. The first is a 2-1 Bassini Exhaust, and the second is a 2-1 Hooker-type reverse Megaphone exhaust

I think I like the look of the Reverse mega... but dunno until I run them.

and we are LEGAL!!! I even sorted the pods/battery issue out.

seems to be running alright. My only issue is I"ve got my pods on, and she starts at 1 kick with no choke. When I try to add the choke, or start with the choke ... nada.

But man, what fun... so tempted to go for the ton ;D

One kick and no choke means the bleeder/pilots are likely a lil bit rich. Did you up them at all when you rejetted the bike? I did myself, and found the same problem. Havent had mine under load yet, but i think that I am damn close with the rest, and just one step over on the pilots. Generally, they say you can tune the carbs for pods and a pipe with the STOCK pilot jets. I didnt trust em, but i appear to be wrong..lol

Well, the issue is that I haven't done ANYTHING to the carbs.

She runs great, no lagging or anything. She does need to be synced, but it's something I'll sort out in a bit. Just worried I might be running lean.

Sweet...now give it back!!! ;)

You got more work done in a couple of months then I did in a couple of years. Hope she runs good for you.

Thanks Mike... and no, I won't give it back.

She's running pretty good, just need to deal with a lean condition.

BTW... what a HOOT!

Well, I just got this new seat cover for less then $50 shipped, as the old one was torn. Must say, looks fantastic, and fits very well.

Old Beat seat cover.

I'm going to take a couple inches out of the seat foam before final fitting, but so far I think it looks great.

Druro,

I also have a 75 360 and need to find out about the rearsets and the Hooker exhaust. Any info would be appreciated. I should have mine back soon and would like to make a couple of mods.

Thanks again.
