For your license plate bracket, could you put drill a non structural part of the frame, and put a nut-sert in? Kind of like a rivet in nut right into the tubing. Something to think about...

Gulf blue...yep.
The rubber pad that goes between the seat and frame isn't on, so the seat is sitting a little lower and not lining up with the tank, if you're wondering.

As you can see, I also got the engine mounted yesterday. Replaced the old bolts with stainless while I was in there. And I managed to do it without scratching the frame's paint or aggravating my hernia! So it was a good day.

WOW!!! that turned out better than it did in my head!!! some high gloss clear will make that blue pop out even more than Pamela Anderson's titts in a bikini... looks killer dude!!
Haha, the frame is fastened to the chair with a ratchet strap. All the weight is in the engine, so even though it looks precarious, it's pretty stable.
