I want to thank all on this forum who helped me with my project. I have a few more things planned for over the summer, but it is mostly complete now. The headlight bucket was fixed with JB weld and it is noticible so I plan to swap it out. I also plan on some new tires. Anyway, sorry for the pictures because it was getting pretty dark (I feel they don't do justice but I wanted to get something posted here). I hope to get better photos sometime when I'm out for a ride. Enjoy

It was snowing and you can see a few melted snow flakes on the tank.

Louie decals rock! I also plan to paint the front tank mount silver to blend with the frame.

It was getting dark and I ran out of time taking photos. I hope to get better/more photos at a later date.
Again, Thanks to everyone here who helped. I couldn't have done it without you!

What a great looking bike. Well done. I'd love to zip around on that. More motivation to get mine complete

I knew this bike would look great out in the daylight. The stance and proportions are perfect . The clutter free underseat area really works. Hopefully that rear tire doesn't fling to much crap at your carbs.

Gotta love those cb twins.

Absolutely gorgeous, love the colour scheme, frame looks great.

That bike is super cool Troy. I'll bet it's a blast to ride to! ...you going to do another? :D

F'N AWESOME TROY!!!! JUST AWESOME!!!!
man sit back and have a beer just an amazing job! just save that to my "fav bikes" folder!

WOW...

...seriously buddy that look phenominal. You should be extremely proud of your work. Some new rubber will really set it off man. and let's here the exhaust already!!!1!!1!one!~!!!

Troy,

Your bike is brilliant. I've been watching this build since day one and have enjoyed every minute.

Thanks, CC

Hey guys Thank you very much for the comments. Can't tell you how good it makes me feel. I read a comment somewhere on here but I can't remember who said it, (although it might have been Herm). Anyway, It went something like this, "When I know how much work went into my bike then I see other bikes better than mine, it makes me realize how much work must have went into theirs." I know exactly what he was saying. There are so many awesome bikes on this forum that I'm just glad to be allowed to hang out here. ;D Again, a big thank you to all that helped and all those who checked in on the build.
I do have a couple more things to do on the bike. Besides new tires and a headlight bucket over the summer, I will probably have to sinc and jet the carbs. And if the bike decides not to be a kick only, I'll have to wire up the starter and get a bigger battery. Not a real big deal. I have my eye on a battery that should work and still fit under the tail. I also drilled the rivets on the front fender and plan to use the mount as a fork brace. I also have two holes to drill at the front of the seat mount for bolts that will allow the seat to pivot up from the rear . I'm sure a few other things will pop up unexpected as I work out some of the bugs.
Anyhow, things get real busy for me starting in the spring and last through the fall. I hope to start picking stuff up for my next build which I plan to start late next fall.

I've not put gas in the bike yet because of crapy weather and I want to let the paint set up as long as I can. I rolled her back out in the sun today and grabbed a few more photos. Please excuse the dust I've not cleaned her yet. I want to let everything cure for awhile then I'll clean and polish. However, once the weather gets better I'll post up some sound/riding video. You guys take care, and thanks again. Troy

This is how I did the rear brake. On a test ride a week or so ago it could lock the rear wheel without too much trouble. I have to admit that I wasn't too sure about it at first. Now I like it. I need to replace the spring that works the brake switch because I had to stretch this one out to get it so that it would work.
