So I came across this 75 cl with the intention of building a cafe bike but after researching I think it'd suit a bobber build much better.
As you can probably guess from the photos below a couple of things have been changed. First off the swing arm has been widened and is running a 15inch 04 rebel wheel, and the front end is also off the matching bike. The picture was taken after I pulled the rear shocks trying to see how it would look.
The motor for the bike is freshly rebuilt with new gaskets and the internals have been cleaned, it sits on my garage floor in flat black waiting to be installed.
Currently I've stripped the bike to the frame and am trying to get it to sandblasting ASAP so I can repaint it. At the moment it sits like this...
I'm not sure how I should finish off the bikes suspension with the tire combo on it now,I feel like its throwing off the proportions especially with how the lower rails are set up on the cl. I was thinking hardtail but I would have to have a shop do it seeing I dont have a welder.
Just for reference here's a shot of the bike with the rear shocks to see how high it is.
Got any advice guys?
