Here is my 1975 RD350. She's had a hard beginning life, but now the neglecting is over. Essentially a mild streetable race bike.
-65mm wisecos, slightly ported intake and exhaust, modified heads, VM30's, DG pipes, premix modified case, big coils, Barnett clutch.
-Detabbed frame with modified tail section, fiberglass seat, motocarerra rear controls, nitrogen shocks, fork brace, woodcraft bars, dunlop rubbers.
-42hp/28tq with Opti2 oil. 225lbs dry.
They really are great tires, better than the battlax's and Duro's I've used on other bikes. I needed something grippy that wouldn't slip under power, now its hard to keep the front end down with the midrange DG pipes. PVL makes a CDI ignition for the RD with Headlight and tail light, something else I am trying to afford. I also have a set of high range pipes desinged, just need some stainless tapers made.
So many projects all the time. Here are some more. '73 Bored/Cammed Honda CB350, '68 CB350, '65 Suzuki K11 Racer, '70 Honda CL70 Takegawa.
Sick bike ! I bet it's a blast to ride ! Nice Thunderdrome Pics Where are you at in Michigan? I'd love to check out some of the bikes for some build inspiration
