Don't worry too much about A/F ratios until the bike is warmed up. Even modern EFI systems ignore the O2 sensor until the car's been running a while.

Thanks matt. Yeah, she always gets richer after warm enough to stop the re-condenstion of the atomized fuel. Im tellin ya installing that o2 sensor was the best idea I ever had. Its amazing how well the thing works. And its fast. real time fast. I love that thing. :D

I swear the secret ingredient in the AVONs is asphalt glue.

I ran ME33's way back then the the Avon super venoms a few times I know what you mean, I run K591's on the big bike and they are nice, but one almost killed me in Michigan when I found out how aluminum rims don't turn. If I never blow a front on a bagger again I'll die happy haha!

This is neat machine!

Thanks dude!

This 360 is the only bike I have ever owned. I have been through the poor thing 1000 times top to bottom.

Hate to love her, love to hate her. lol

Re: 76 CB360, Lovin the new pipes.

Also, I cant believe "coker" the company that makes the firestones doest have to put some kind of warning or disclaimer on the tires that say they arent meant for actual riding purposes. The things can get you killed.

Re: 76 CB360, Lovin the new pipes.

Same o same o my dad always said, "If there's someone stupid enough think it up and make it, there's probably someone stupid enough to buy it." ;) And if there is and first guy makes money then I guess he's not that stupid.

Been following along behind the scenes trek, she shore looks nice with them new pipes. 8)

Thanks frogman, been a while since. Want to say thanks for all ur help over the years w her.

How you gettin along ?

Re: 76 CB360, Lovin the new pipes.

ok its a new day. And I got to thinking about it wrong. I shouldnt need to up the pilots to 41s. I may just need to clean the idle and pilot circuits.

the 41s shouldnt help w mix needles. They are separate systems.

Re: 76 CB360, Lovin the new pipes.

I'm doing well, my little baby needs some attention, she's been kinda stuffed in the corner for a while and forgotten about, been a shitty winter. :( She's gonna get some new pipes and some new gaskets here one of these days. Prolly take some of the engine covers off and polish them since I really screwed the paint job on a couple. Was thinking about some euro bars for her as well.

I hear that. I need to clear out some space in the shop to work on my 360 again, too.

Re: 76 CB360, Lovin the new pipes.

Yes u both need to get busy.

Also thinking more about operation and function the 41s will help. So I'm going forward w the plan to install.

A/f needles simply supplement the pilot circuit.

Re: 76 CB360, Lovin the new pipes.

Well to be fair I have been sorta side-tracked.

No more de-rail.

Sidecar tyres are great for sidecar outfits. not any good on a solo though. Should have kept them and got a spare set of wheels, running around in the snow with an outfit is kinda fun ;)

Re: 76 CB360, Lovin the new pipes.

So, I was feeling spritely early this morning and just for "FUN " I fitted the stock airboxes back on her.

I dont know how the guys over the sea, at Honda thought these airboxes were a good idea. They couldnt suck any worse to install.

On an up note. I found the recreational fuel supplier lives 9 miles south of me. A super nice ol' boy, he pumped 10 gallons of "the good stuff" into my cans from his tank. I told him I would be back, he was happy to hear it. Turns out he supplies a few local guys, w this liquid gold. AND cost me a few pennies LESS than pump price. ;D He also said if I get a 30-55 gallon drum, he would keep me stocked when prices get low. Stopping here at my house, while hes out making deliveries. How cool is that?

Re: 76 CB360, Lovin the new pipes.

Should be able to run down a 55 gallon drum fairly cheap, I know they flat give them away around here, I'd be going that route if I didn't have a station that still keeps regular gas close to me.

How's it run with the stock boxes back on?
