Help,

I want to have a kick start only on the cb400f cafe racer, but what should i put in the hole in the block where the starter goes in? Is there a plug that is manufactured to fill the hole?

Thanks fellow riders

This should fit your bike.

PM crazypj. He makes start block off plug. I just got mine in the mail a week or so ago and it works like a dream. Comes with a seal and everything. He charges 35 with shipping.

Are you sure?
the 400f is a completely different design as far as where the starter mounts.
Its possible the holes are the same size however....

Why wouldn't you just measure the hole in your engine, then ask what size the plug is?

TRICKY TRICKY. I will have to do a little measuring and searching I guess. I could always leave the starter in for now till i find the right plug or make one. Seems to be the problem with the cb400f ss. Theres nothing to anchor the plug to without drilling the case.

Also contacted Crazypj -- he wasnt yet able to figure one out yet either do to lack of securing capabilities.

Thanks for the thoughts and directions.

Great Team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :D

Rick Denoon will hook you up - http://www.denoonsp.com/

I've got one and it works well. He makes all kinds of nice 400f parts.

You do have to drill the case so if that's a problem for you then it won't work.
