76 CB500T fuel tank on a 78 CB750K?

I'm currently in the process of building a 1978 CB750K into a badass cafe racer. So far I've got it torn apart and have about 1500 dollars worth of DCC products and such sitting on my kitchen table just waiting to be installed in warmer weather. I've been tossing what I'll do for a tank around in my head for months it's seems. Fiberglass? bit sketchy for me. Dish out the original tank? but it's so ugly lol. I've come across a mint 76CB500T fuel tank for sale and am just wondering if anyone has any idea if this will mount up on my 78 CB750 or if it'll require heavy modifications?

I know everyone likes pics, who doesn't right? So here's where I'm at atm. Luckily I have two scheduled 14 day off breaks this spring in which I WILL finish the bike.
