Re: 77 cb750f2

Thanks for the compliments fellas. I got the carbs synced up today and I am loving the sound of the new pipe. Nice and low at idle then it screams when I rev it up. Hope to get a video up soon for a sound clip.

Gnarly...

I cant wait to get into a high performance build again. visually modifying a bike sometimes isn't enough.

Here is a little video I shot after I put the Yamiya pipe on with the big baffle I love the sound, it's a lot deeper than the other pipe I had before.

Hell yeah. That sounds fantastic...nice aggressive tone.

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

By far the most complete and stunning bike on this site mate, a work of art...

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

Sounds great. Were you listening to The Black Keys?

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

Wow. Absolutely wow. That is utterly sweet music. Must have listened to it five times.

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

Damn man! This is everything I want my 77 CB750F to be!!! But I have ZERO fabrication skills.....and like $20 bucks in my pocket. :-\

Can I ask you a question about your carbs? I see you went with pods, which I'm trying to do, but I noticed the airbox was actually a bit of a stabilizer for them and helped hold them up. Did you fabricate something in place of that or do your intakes hold them up just fine?

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

Wow... that is all there is to say... this motorcycle is mad...

keep on going!

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

I'd make sure your garage is locked up tight... That thing is nice!

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

man that sounds bad as hell! man i watn to build a CB750 now... awesome job on this sucker man!

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

awe inspiring! hands-down perfect bike you got right there!

Re: 77 cb750f2 "a little sound bite"

The intakes hold up the carbs fine. The only major problem with removing the airbox on these old bikes is tuning the carbs, they don't seem to run as well with pods. I went with new Keihin CR special carbs for this build because I wanted the extra hp, and ease of set up for this bike.

Haha, yeah I'm finding that out. Not impossible or anything as I've got it running fairly smooth once it's warmed up....but I would love those CR's for sure! Thanks very much for the info!

Wow that looks/sounds amazing. It definitely makes me want to spend next fall in my garage tearing apart my 76 750F, this post will definitely be my step by step guide. Thanks!
