I am posting here once again except this time some minor success! My last project was a 69 CL175, but I didn't complete it. On to this build. I picked up this 77 Suzuki GS550 for $900 with 17k on the clock.
I forgot to mention I have only owned this bike for two weeks. I don't have any other transportation, so it was real important to get this ole girl on the road. The past few weeks i've been planning and gather material. The following is the product of roughly 16 hours of labor. It is no where near perfect or maybe even pretty, but she is mine and I will ride the hell out of her!
At this point in this quick build. I need a seat solution and pronto! Let me introduce you to the 30 minute seat special.
There is a whole heck of a lot of room for improvement. Trim this, shorten that, but for now this is how she stands. I will update this thread as I go. I still have a lot I need to do. That is all, time to ride!
