Working on this thing in an unheated storage unit on the outskirts of town seemed like a much better idea when it was 70 and sunny...
Since I shouldn't really do anything major until I make sure the damn thing will run and I can't work on that until the final spring thaw without having to winterize it every day I work, I've just been doing little minor fixes - replacing covers, fasteners, etc. Thanks to Jaykim for the side covers and focusinprogress for the ignition cover.
Can anyone recommend a battery or give tips on how to pick one? Hell of a lot of different options out there, way more than you have buying a car battery, and the only thing I'm sure of is that I have to get rid of the unsealed lead-acid OEM nastiness.
