77 XS650 Cafe Racer

Finally finished my 77 XS650 cafe racer.

These pictures are in random order, I should have did a better job of documenting my build.

The biggest mod is the engine. The crank has been rephased, which chages it from a parallel twin to a 277 firing order that kinda sounds like a vr4.

This is what it looked like when I bought it last year.

I cut off the rear loop and made a battery and electronics tray.

Freshly painted frame...single stage

Battery tray and solenoid. The Shorai Battery easily turns the motor over

I don't like how this looks, but it I couldn't think of a cleaner way of a fuse block

The coil brackets from Joker Machine work great

Where did you get those head light brackets?!? Those are so pretty!! I mean, the bike looks amazing too! Where did you source the sheathing for the wiring? Thanks man, awesome looking bike!

That looks phenomenal...very clean. What size Shorai did you use?

How did the rephasing change the feel of the engine, I know you commented on the sound, but does it feel smoother? Does it make a lot more power?
