'77 Yamaha RD400 "Jigsaw Puzzle"

Looking really good. I was going to post my 77 RD400 build, looks like you beat me to it. Happy to see someone else interested in reviving this beautiful machine.

Don't let this one stop you from posting it up. The more the merrier! ;)

This is also not my first 2smoke build. I've had a DS7 for over a decade :)

Oh awesome, the one that started it all. I likely will create a build thread, the bike is almost complete. I'm just waiting on a few last items to be shipped for completion. Its going to be a lot of work putting all the pictures and story together.

Better late than never, click'. I have the same bike in about the same condition.
Cheers, 50gary

Got the engine covers cleaned up of all the places that shouldn't have been powdercoated.
Got the engine cleaned up and painted.
Got it reassembled enough to take some glamour shots...

Heads and side covers will come off again to install it in the frame, so they currently aren't torqued. Putting it home will likely happen next weekend.

That's really pretty! Your brother is going to get more Hooters Girls pictures than you!

Thanks Guys ;)

Cory, it'd be about time for him to get some pics. I'm tired of doing all the work :p

Made it home...
