got the throttlebodies today. stripped them down and offered them up to the engine. will have to make a new inlet manifold, but it should be almost bolt on..
Looks badass in my opinion, even if they are not CR carbs
that does look very cool I hope you can get it running fine as a frog
however those screens inside the stacks are a huge restrictor-tation on the airflow, best cut them out
the plan was to have a black engine, but i decided it needed some shiny bits in the frame too.. so the engine is going to be silver, with polished covers.
looking sweet
correct location of frame gussets for structural use is not on centerline as you have done,
they should be moved outboard and the weld closer to 90 degrees away from the location now
will look into that.. they are only spot welded on for now, since i am constantly changing things around i didnt want to weld everything in place permanently until im done
started working on the engine while i am waiting for lots of motogadget goodies
engine casings will be gloss black, all bolts will be polished stainless steel allen head. some of the fins(sump and sylinder) will be polished to contrast the black casing. side covers will be as above, polished.
Will also need to get going on finishing the seat asap.
