78' CB750 Yoshi style exhaust

Been Around the Block
Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a complete exhaust for my 1978 Honda CB750K. I like the ones Carpy has but I'm not 100% sure I want to go that route with all I've heard from people's experiences dealing with them.

Any recommendations?

Just my .02, you can find good 4-into-1 headers on eBay pretty regularly. Then just work out a muffler and you're good to go. If you really like the Yosh style it is not terribly difficult to mimic with a little ingenuity.

I ordered the motogpwerks awhile back, have yet to put them on but the quality is amazing

Have heard really good things about MotoGPWerks, never seen one in person though. What's the price tag on one of those?

Haven't looked in awhile, I know when I ordered mine they were only making a handful for the season, need a pic of it laid out?

Chris at MotoGPWerks does KILLER work.
Most of his stuff is SS.
He is a little "hard to deal with" at times. More old school then anything. He has a distain and hatetrad of hipsters and clowns that don't get real race parts.
He also only builds in batches. So call him, pay him, and wait for him to build you a pipe.
IF not you will end up being mad and being one of the endless number of people that bitch on a forum about him.

I have two of his pipes and one of Carpy's.
Carpy's is junk, and he is a jerk too.

For a while Chris was making the pipes for Carpy, but they had a falling out.

When I first started this build I ordered a few things from carpy nothing against him personally but my God is stuff over priced for generic pieces

Yeah but if the title of the video is what he has the motor bored to 915, I have mine bored to 811 so mine will even be a little different

Going 836 soon (if I ever get around to it). GPWerks looks and sounds awesome

This isn't a great pic, but it's mine before I pulled the motor. Jardine 4-into-1 with a nice long reverse meg. The meg was part of a 4-2 system that came on the bike. Looked and sounded great but I dumped the bike and trashed one side. Always wanted a 4-1 anyways I suppose!

Is it tough to get one of his exhausts?

Like surrfly and I said he only does batches all by hand, i know when I ordered mine I had just gotten into a cruise ship with the gf saw one of his pipes listed on his eBay store, my PayPal was acting up, had terrible service in the room, had to go out into the deck call paypal fix my account, rub back into the ship to their computer station, create a log in, enter all my passenger info to use it, get on reset my PayPal, update my billing info then finally ordered it!.....the gf wasn't thrilled. If he has one laying around it will simply be packed up and shipped, not you'll probably be waiting. I'll for some of his links.

No way the price is right but it's saying on his site it's in stock and available
