Well we have got a lot of compliments on our hoop and we are really thinking about making them for people and selling them at a decent price. We should also be able to put a nice angle on the end kind of like the ones I see on DCC. The differences are the pipe we are using is about 16ga thickness (not as thick as the ones from DCC) and hope to make these with the flare on the end without welding like the ones from DCC look like they did. I have never bought or seen the DCC hoop in person I am just going off the pictures provided on their website.
I like the look of the hoop. If you are concidering on producing and selling those maybe you can start a thread in the classified section. I am building a brat style cb750 and would be interested in a rear hoop but would like it to rise up a little higher to contour the rear of the seat. Great way to make some xtra dough.

I think we will post a DIY for it and for the ppl who would rather buy them we take orders. We want to sell them cheap to the fellow DTT members but still make enough to cover gas, materials, and minimal labor.
We are working on putting a bend/flare towards the end to shape around the rear tire for clearance.
Also as far as paint goes we sourced a local powder coating place to do the frame and wheels and there is a NAPA paint shop around the corner from our office which makes it very convenient to get paint supplies and such. We are def going to go with a bc/cc setup on the tank, side covers, and other parts. Not sure on colors yet.
So it has been a while since I updated our progress. In this time brackets/tabs were taken off, new ones made for new parts, fiberglass seat made (and will be re-done before its finished) Rear sets attempted and frame and wheels sent to powder coat and starting to assemble. So more pics....
