Thanks, yeah it is a functional airspeed gauge. It was made for small aircraft like ultralites so it is made to accurately read slower speeds.

Sweet guage looks like an aircraft guage, Idk if it is or if thats what it is suppose to look like, but its sweet

Silver and chrome on the head light bucket. i still want to see the head light bucket mock up. No red your frame is alot of red already. I am liking the speedo tach it sits very flat and flush to the bikes dienamics . Tell us more about where u got this air plane speedo? i found a picture that looks similar to your bike it might give you an idea what you could do,I also put a link to a build my friend just finished . Your going to laugh at how similar your guys color lay outs are! cheers! Stript

Ok I got the headlight bolted up. I will most likely be lowering it a little. Let me know what you think.
I got the gauge from a company called Aircraft Spruce. They specialize in small aircraft and DIY airplane builders. It actually measures the differential in air pressure between the static pressure and the pressure from the pitot tube to measure the motorcycles speed. It should be quite accurate unless you are riding directly into the wind. those bikes do look similar to mine. Is the Kott bike built by the same guy that was in the "Cafe Cowboy" video in DTT?

Yes thats him , sweet little vid aint it! i would go silver with the chrome lip . That gage is tech!

I agree with Stript. I think silver would blend right in. I just realized I hadn't said it yet but I love that seat.

I finished the airspeed gauge tonight. It is all plumbed up and functional. I made a short walk around video.http://youtu.be/5wGv4nyi8mA

Thanks for explaining how the air speedo works, i like that thing it should work once you are running the bike. How does it measure the air in psi ,mph, ?

I hate your seat. Actually I just do not like the color. Everything else about your scoot I just love. Really nice job.

I almost forgot I had a large hole the side of my engine. This should take care of the problem.

Yeah I am going as light and simple as possible. I bet between the battery and starter it will shave at least 10 pounds.
