'78 KZ650 Café Project "MAD KAW"

Just ordered the last of the parts I need to finish the bike, turn signals, clutch cable, clutch lever bolt, rear axel (again), and some misc nuts & bolts. Kevin is ordering a new front master cylinder and brake set up and that should be it. Then it's time to rebuild and RIDE!
 
So now it's a roller!

Nah...my daughter's favorite color is orange. I'm Butler Bulldog all the way baby! Season tix since '96! The best damn basketball team on the planet.
 
Engine is complete and installed, front brake, turn signals, and some wiring to go....

Wanted to keep some of the Vintage look, besides I'm an old guy...we are into visibility and safety on our way to the nursing home.
 
I was trying to decide on painting my bike Kawasaki green or orange, I think you made that decision for me... The bike looks killer man. Are you keeping the pegs original or are you going to do rearsets?


Oh and it's nice to see another Indiana "boy"...
 
Say what? it went to a damn bike show and we haven't seen completed pics!?!?!?!? C'mon Von you're killin' us here :)
