'80 CB750K Head leak??

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the scene and I have my first bike, a 1980 cb750k. Shes in GREAT shape with a mere 6,700 original miles. I noticed a nice oily left boot after riding it and realized that there was oil on the cooling fins. I've read all over that it seems to happen fairly often with these bikes that they just need the head bolts/covers tightened down. I'm not confident enough in my mechanical abilities to undertake this project, so I'm hoping for a quick simple fix to last the summer and then address it in the winter. I saw that my local pep boys has something called quicksteel, apparently it is putty that you mold and let it set and it becomes like metal. If I were to use this to patch up this leak, do you guys think it would hold or at least slow the leak down? would it make the job harder in the long run? All input appreciated.

Noooooo

Use degreaser to clean the engine off and sprinkle baby powder on it...take it for a spin (make sure there's enough oil in it first). You'll see right where the leak is coming from.
