mark where the contact is, cut the center out and weld in part of the original rear guard. the bike you showed in your first post has the original rear guard under the tail, probably why.
I haven't finished with a seat yet, if you're referring to the pic earlier in this feed I reshaped the original seat foam. I've since scrapped that and welded an upswept hoop, then welded sheet metal underneath as a "fender". I am just going to run the f shocks because they're a bit longer and then look into a cbr wheel swap later down the road.
