Hi Gang,
I am rejetting the carbs on my CB750c. I am using a Dynojet kit to do a stage 3 rejet. I need to remove the plug to get at the mixture screw. Per their directions I drilled through the plug and used the screw they provided to give me leverage to pull it out. However, I have used quite a bit of force to get it out and so far it won't come out. Does anyone have any advice on how to get it out without damaging the rest of the carb? The plug is pointed at by the green arrow in the attached picture.
Also, there is a red arrow in the picture pointing at a lever/screw. What is that for? There is one on each of the four carbs and they are currently all pointing in different directions.
Also, if you have any other advice regarding the rejetting of these carbs I would appreciate hearing what it is.
I have attached a pdf of the Dynojet instructions in case that helps you better answer my questions.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Bob
