At this point I'm only in it for the gas it cost to drive an hour to pick it up. I did a trade for some home audio equipment that I got for free. The previous owner tried to do a backyard cafe build using some sketchy parts and a few cans of spray bomb truck bed liner. The bed liner was on everything except the seat and head light glass. I have many many many hours in sandblasting and cleaning of the parts as I took each piece off and cleaned then repainted. Plan is to do a mild brat cafe style build. This is how it sits now. Still have to chop off the top of the stock seat frame. I plan on running the new seat tube straight off the backbone of the frame to the rear hoop above the back tire. The shock mounts will be removed and relocated after new tube is welded in it place to support the seat tube. I would like to cut off the rear foot peg mounts and build a tube structure to hold the new rearsets.
This is what kind of what I want to do. Tied this on for a mockup. Instead of cutting and splicing here and there ill just cut it all off and make one new piece. The seat will be the DCC brat seat with the kick up on the rear.
