Is this bike really cafe material?

Don't see why not.
AND you should be able to afford your parts through selling off all the luggage and windjammer.
:D

i have seen these done like a cafe ....yeah loose the winnebego stuff ...you dont need that fold out shower and big screen tv ......and the samsonite strapped all over hides the bike so you cant even see the tank
i wonder if that thing has overloaders like tow trucks do .....
seriously though ..prune the weight off it ..low bars ..some rearsets ..and maybe a set of upswept dunstalls
and you gotta bike again .....on the other hand i dunno alot about the 650 honda is it reliable and does it handle in stock form or do you need 500 worth of suspension too ...does it have a drive shaft or chain ????what distinguishes it as a good bike ..power looks handling ....i suggest if you are gonna do it ...start with a bike you want ...not just a cheap one ...paul

I saw, of all things, a Gold Wing that was cafed once and Sproules swap meet. he managed to pull it off quite nicely believe it or not. It's not the bike that's a limiting factor just your imagination!

BTW - I have one of those "cool" fairings for sale. Full frame, lowers and even the key for the locking pocket. 150$
