A lot of you guys criticized my fat front tire in my last build, so I figured this time around I would save some cash on the rear to front wheel conversion and go with the stock front wheel and tire. The new build is just beginning.

I actually like the fat front tire look. Does it handle any different?

I'm a fan of the xv conversions. Whatcha got planned for this one?

Yeah, I like the fat front tire look as well. The bike handled great, but that fat wheel and tire do slow the responsiveness down a bit. I am going similar to the first bike on this build, just because i fell in love with its lines. Will try to refine a few things in the process.

Yeah, it does have some gorgeous lines! Maybe its just the kick I'm on right now but what would it look like with a 3/4 or 1/2 fairing?

And if you were selling subframes and I had an XV then I would definitely get one from you. Or at least swipe your design :p

I'm looking at a 750 midnight right now. I plan on trying to replicate this subframe as well as I can. This and a bike on another forum are providing my inspiration.

you did a great job on your first bike im looking forword see your next. I just started my very first build. 81 xv 750 just cleaning parts right now. my question is want kind of paint did you use on the wheels, forks, and swing arm on your first xv 750 and where did you buy it . thank you for your time

I've gotten a bunch of emails about building the rear subframe, so thought I'd show some pics.

Thanks Swivel, I'll stand behind this bolt on design. The bike will be set up with a seat for only one rider, so no need to design for two.

nice one v-twins do make great cafes. With the new seat height did you have any balance or ride issues?

should look wicked when she’s done

have you checked out this build http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=32161.0 you both have great ideas

If you would build a extra sub frame I would be open to paying for such a thing. Big fan of the lines of your bikes as well.
