Ditto...
Tank and seat turned out NICE!

Wonder how in the hell only 3-4 exhaust section of the cams got so nasty... the cylinders I can understand but only the one corner of the CAM? odd. ::)

I was thinking the samething maybe from the valve cover since it had a small crack on top

Looks pretty good from here. I need to get back to that myself.
That factory clearcoat is some stubborn stuff! Care to share what you used to strip it, or did you just sand through it?
"Aircraft Stripper" is about the best I have found.

Yes sure
1-use aircraft stripper
2-use #3 steel wool to remove all the paint
3-use Sisal Wheel with emery compound (easier to sand after)
4-wet sand-I start from 220 grit then 320,400,600,800,1000,1500,2000
5- use sisal wheel again with emery compound
6-polishing wheel with polishing compound
7.I like polishing using MAAS at the end ,gives it a better shine (Optional)

Thats it

And yesteday 2 boxes came in from DTT member Rich Ard

Hell yeah! I thought that stuff would look good on a motorcycle with, you know, a motor in it. Glad to see it put to some good use.

Also I apologize for the color that stuff was painted. I'm colorblind and I laid that down before my wife got to me.
