82 cb750k • Mostly cafe/Part flat track/all mine

Thank you.

I was surprised how many people looked at the bike.
Did we talk?

We didn't, when I was looking at it you were in an conversation with someone and did not want to interrupt.

Thanks, but darn.
Always like to meet DTT folks.

Were you running?

I was not running unfortunately, just there as a spectator this time. If I can get my 750 up to where I want it I will look at running it next year. If not then I will probably try and run my car. We shall see what happens. Was an absolute blast, my first time at the salt, fun to meat and talk with a bunch of guys from all over the world. One guy from the UK that has a zook similar to mine although far more powerful.

Crap now I am drooling again.

Done deal man! I don't live very far from the salt so I will be there for sure next year.

Cool.

My name is brad barber.
Bike #470 (B).

We usually pit on row 3 or 4 as near tech as possible and run courses 3 or 4.

See you in August.

Selling my set of totally rebuilt GSX-R BST34SS carbs with velocity stacks and copper-lined manifolds with rolled edge stainless hose clamps.
I installed only new Suzuki parts: fuel valves, fuel hoses & clamps and gaskets.
Carbs have never seen ethanol gas, only ran unleaded race fuel.
Ran great at Bonneville Speed Weeks earlier this month, but I've decided to go all in and get CRs.
Firm price $325 plus shipping from Houston.

Yeah, I'm in Houston. I don't street ride regularly, though.

Check out TonUpHouston on Facebook

They ride weekly.
Lots of Brit bikes, but a good bunch.

Great thread sir...I hope to someday make it to the salt flats...love the bike !! Very well done..

Very nice bike. So what happened with the BCR tank? I was considering one of his tanks for my bike.

From my experience with Benjy:
His products are POS.
His customer service is "Sure, send me more money & I'll fix it"
His products are produced in the Philippines with marginal quality control and crap materials

Other than that... :)

Bit of an update:
I added come Keihin CR-S carbs to my bike and plan to go back to SpeedWeek in 2014 to "Do The Ton" and more.

I was honored to be a featured bike on the Pipeburn blog last month.
The images were taken by Kevin McCauley at our art gallery in Houston, the Nicole Longnecker Gallery http://www.longneckergallery.com
The art is by Devon Christopher Moore and goes pretty good with my bike.

Enjoy:

Final Update on this bike.
Local store was having bike night and I was able to put my bike on display in the window.

Two people approached asking if I would sell it.
I said sure for the right money.

Bottom line, I got my price and sold the bike to a woman rider who lives about 3 miles away.
She LOVES the thing and couldn't be happier.

I've already sourced a 1969 BSA 250 single for my next build.
I plan to set a new record in M-G 250 class in 2015. The record is only 91mph.

Watch for a new build thread.
