So I'm still trying to perfect this thing. Latest project has been my tank, gold was alright in pictures but it was just plastidip and gas killed it. Refurbished the tank badges...time consuming but well worth it.
Just some questions on the process for refurbishing the tank badges. It only looks like you put blue painter's tape on the badges and cut out the letters, but there has to be much more to it. Details?

Theres really nothing else to it. The letters are raised on the badges I have so I just cut them out, sprayed over everything, and peeled the tape off when it dried.

OK - you just refreshed the black area around the "metallic" plating. I thought you refreshed the plating area; I have some badges that need the plating area refreshed and thought this might be the trick.
