83 Nighthawk 450 running poorly need help

I don't see any plugs in the parts fiche for the 450 carbs:

I stand corrected- nice work. The question now is: where did the original plugs go?

i have seen the turn to goo and someone who does not know "clean" them out of the carb

but with them not there the bike will run rich as all get out

cxman is spot on here, that is your problem. No sense doing anything further until you get those plugs.

get your ass off over to honda twins forum no offense but those people have specfic information on the bike. they really helped me with mine. Do the ton is better for mods and stuff.
