83' Suzuki GS850 - Pictures of finished bike before paint.

Took a few shots of the bike today behind the house prior to tearing it all back down to have it ready for paint. RedPlastic on this forum will be spraying the bike for me hopefully as soon as next weekend depending on if I can get things cleaned up and final prepped by then.

Note: The seat will be professionally wrapped before the bike is "finished" also the license plate looks a little crooked but its the angle of the shot.

Thanks guys. I've been riding it for about a month off and on after doing things here and there. The bike is a drastic change from what it was stock, and rides pretty damn good for such a big tank.

Looks Great, wish I could make the GTG to see it in person. I got a big girl too and love riding her on long trips, she handles pretty damn good for a 600 lb 31 year old.

Thanks for the support guys. In its current black/primer state, it is a pretty mean looking bike, but I really think painting it glossy black with some silver pin stripe will clean her up. Who knows, maybe this thing will be BOTM one day. (Just kidding, I really enjoyed building this bike, but I don't have those types of expectations.) Thanks again for the support though everyone.

yep... stoked about it.


as of now all is wet sanded and basically ready for paint tomorrow.


just a heads up - i'll be starting a new build thread tonight or tomorrow with pictures of the bike torn down and before and after paint and other minor last changes and reassembly, basically making it my main and full build thread. my initial thread wasn't formatted the way i'd like it to be, and i'll just answer any questions on things in that thread.
