I'm glad it's working for you. I think you did a great job on the front brake calipers and rotors. I did an extensive frame rebuild on my XS650 which included an entire R6 front end so I know how well modern brakes can stop a bike.
Cheers, 50gary
Top job.....nothing on the bike that isn't needed. It's a credit to ya ;D !
That's Guzzis for ya......they get in under your skin and then your hooked/fooked!
I hope you have loads of fun scratching on the twisty windys with it.
Love this bike! It's a good inspiration for working on my own 1000SP as well.
Wondering wich exhaust you used. I really like it's short megaphone style!
Can you tell me what type it is or did you make it all by yourself?
Hi,
The exhaust is an old scrappy set of Bub Bad Dogs that were on my Centauro. I had them laying around and decided to see if I could make them work on the SP. I had to fabricate new rear mount points, bend them a bit and also build a new crossover pipe. It was not very hard to modify them, but it took some time. Unfortunately the pipes are discontinued and are pretty hard to come by (like most things for a centauro : ) these days. Thanks for the comments.
