No problem dude. Just try to be as accurate as possible. I still dont know if the engine fires or not. Rev means rolling the throttle to make rpm's. When engine does not turn over its impossible to rev

Ok so i made it to step one with no spark I tested the voltage at the core ends and only got 2 volts max, is that enough? (I picked up a multimeter I've needed one for a while) I traced the black and white wire and was getting 12+ volts all the way to the coil. So to testing points. I'll search the forum first for some help with that.

I've made it pretty far I am replacing my points and looking into ricks r/r set. Also still considering a new wiring harness from Sprock. I got pretty frustrated with the points and decided to put on new handle bars and headlight. I should have executed that a little better, I am going to get as much done as I can then take it to one of my local mechanics when they have time.

Why does nobody mention how hard it is to get the engien back in. :'(

I was watching naked speed and the guy helping Zeeks build said "any 11 year old can take a bike apart. It takes a special 11 year old to put it back together." Well I am not a special 11 year old, I am a struggling 27 year old haha.

Also my basment flooded a few weeks ago and I ended up loosing a good amount of small nuts and bolts.

Anyone going to the Columbus ton meet up?

I got the engine back in the frame! I had to take off the bracket on the bottom right front of the frame. Then wedge it back in with the engine in place.

(and yes I did the total noob thing and took it apart before it was running )

I got my new wiring harness today from Sparck Moto! I'll post some pictures of the beauty later.
