a couple questions.

One. i have comstars on my cb750. i dont like em much. But thats all i have right now. I wanted to get them done in black to kinda blend in with the rest of the bike. I was going to take them off in the winter and get them powder coated. But here is the question. they have these little black rubber things that meet the "spokes" on the rim. what do i do with them? if it gets powder coated they will be gone. can i buy more? and that leads into. Could i get away with painting them?
And the other question is. How much is that exhaust tape rap...stuff? and where is the best place to get it?

Hmm, I've got the comstars too. I was going to get them powdercoated or paint them this winter. If you find out anything about the little rubber bits let me know. I've seen them painted before it looked nice. I'm going to order my exhaust wrap from Jegs for about $30 for 50ft.
