A Few Cobras ........

Just came across this pic. It's one of 3 loads of RAM Cobra [ replicas ] we took to Goodwood back in the early '80s for the Goodwood Festival.

The Yellow one at the rear is one we raced [ very successfully ] in our own One Make race series - "The RAM / Bardahl Trophy"

Man, I absolutely love the old Cobra's. I tried talking my Dad into buying a replica kit from Factory Five Racing a couple years ago......he didn't go for it.

Fantastic picture ! The AC Cobra IMO is the sexiest looking car ever built, and the history of how the car was developed by Shelby is a fantastic story.....one that probably couldn't happen today.
I did own a Pilgrim replica for 6 or 7 years, and absolutely loved the attention it drew. Sadly though, it was powered by a modest V6 ford lump.
Still, way better than not owning one at all !
